By purchasing, downloading, or using Widgy ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Widgy.
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Widgy on a single Mac device. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license key. Each license key is bound to one machine at the time of activation.
Widgy is a productivity tool designed to provide quick access to AI services on macOS. You agree to use Widgy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
Permitted uses include but are not limited to: personal productivity, professional work, software development, research, creative work, and learning.
Widgy does not condone, support, or encourage the use of this software to cheat, deceive, or gain an unfair advantage in any academic, professional, or competitive setting.

Violation of this section may result in immediate revocation of your license without refund. You bear sole responsibility for any consequences arising from your misuse of the Software.
We want you to be satisfied with Widgy. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:

Widgy requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets these requirements before purchasing. Widgy is a macOS-only application and does not support Windows or Linux.
We provide best-effort support via email at hello@widgy.dev. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. Support is provided in English. We reserve the right to decline support in cases where the Terms have been violated.
Widgy provides access to third-party AI services including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these services. Their availability, accuracy, and content are governed by their respective terms of service. We are not liable for any issues arising from the use of these third-party services.
Widgy does not collect, store, or transmit your conversations with AI providers. License validation requires your machine's hardware identifier and license key, which are used solely for activation and fraud prevention. We do not sell your data to third parties.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any data loss or damages arising from the use of the Software.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Widgy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal remedies.
